Introduce ChildFriendly to your Staff & Families
To ensure a smooth and successful rollout of ChildFriendly, we have created this Launch Training and Resouce Guide. To begin, we recommend dividing staff training into two focused sessions and then after such training is complete, introduce ChildFriendly to your families.
Use the linked collection of videos to train your administrative and leadership team. We recommend watching the videos in a meeting together and discussing workflows to ensure a smooth rollout.

Make sure to authorize any devices you wish your room staff to use for logging into ChildFriendly. For privacy reasons, room staff should not access student information from personal devices. Instead, an admin must log in on each approved device and use the "Authorize Device" option in the top right corner. This is only done once.
Note: Admin users can login from any device without authorization. Device authorization is only required fro room staff accounts.
Once you’ve confirmed that all settings are complete, children are registered, staff are trained, and parents have been notified, you’re ready to launch! Go to Set Up → Center, and toggle off Set Up Mode. As soon as Set Up Mode is turned off, all families, center admin, office admin and room staff in your system will automatically receive an email invitation to their Portal, including a temporary password to log in.

Make sure to Designate a point person on standby from your team (e.g., an admin or room lead) to support questions and issues that arise from staff and parents during the first week.
Tip: Be patient through the first few weeks — it’s a learning curve for everyone. Focus on progress over perfection, and take time to acknowledge small wins, like all staff successfully using attendance or positive feedback from a parent about the portal.
