How to Use the New Journals Module - Parent Guide

This guide outlines how to use the new (2025) Journal module in the parent portal.

*Note: The old Journals section under the Communicate module is no longer active. Please ensure you update your app to the latest version.

View Journals

To access the new Journals module:

1. Click the Journals tab.
2. If you have more than one child at the center, you will see their names displayed at the top. Click back and forth between children to view journals for each specific child. Any activities recorded will display on the screen.
3. Use the arrows beside the date option to view journals by date.

View Sign-offs and Search Journals

To view any agreement or reports that require your sign-off:

1. Click "View Sign Offs" in the top right.
2. Any Pending Acknowledgements will appear in the top bar. Click here to view and sign required reports and agreements.

To search Incident & Health Journals by Activity Type or Student:

1. Click the filter icon in the right.
2. From here, you have various search filters. Click the Activity Type drop-down to search by Incident or Health journals.
3. Click the Student drop-down menu to search by child.
4. If you want to view journals for a specific time period, select dates in the Start Date **and **End Date fields.

Click "Back to Journal" at the top to go back to journals.
