How long do PAD payments take to process?
When using Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) in ChildFriendly, the timing of withdrawals and deposits depends on when you process the payment in the system. Below is a breakdown to help you plan and manage cash flow effectively.
Payments processed before 10:00 AM MST
→ Funds will be withdrawn from the customer’s account on the same business day (typically shortly after 10:00 AM).
Payments processed after 10:00 AM MST
→ Funds will be withdrawn on the next business day.
→ This will also delay your center’s payout by one day.
Tip: To ensure same-day withdrawal, we recommend processing payments first thing in the morning., before 10:00am MST.
Once processed, funds will be deposited into your center’s bank account within 4–5 business days.
Processed Monday before 10 AM → Funds typically arrive by Friday.
If there’s a bank holiday during the week → Funds may be delayed to Monday of the following week.
Withdrawals are dependent on bank processing times and may vary slightly per family.
Delays may occur during bank holidays or if payments are submitted after cutoff times.
