How long do PAD payments take to process?
When using Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) in ChildFriendly, the timing of withdrawals and deposits depends on when you process the payment in the system. Below is a breakdown to help you plan and manage cash flow effectively.
When are Funds Withdrawn from Families' Accounts?
- Payments processed before 10:00 AM MST
→ Funds will be withdrawn from the customer’s account on the same business day (typically shortly after 10:00 AM).
- Payments processed after 10:00 AM MST
→ Funds will be withdrawn on the next business day.
→ This will also delay your center’s payout by one day.
Tip: To ensure same-day withdrawal, we recommend processing payments first thing in the morning., before 10:00am MST.
When Will the Funds Arrive in Our Center’s Bank Account?
Once processed, funds will be deposited into your center’s bank account within 4–5 business days.
Example Timeline:
- Processed Monday before 10 AM → Funds typically arrive by Friday.
- If there’s a bank holiday during the week → Funds may be delayed to Monday of the following week.
