How do I create custom enrollment questions?
You can create custom enrollment questions to gather specific information from families during their initial registration. These questions are part of the onboarding process and must be answered by parents in the portal.
How to Create Custom Questions
- Navigate to Settings > Center > Customizations in your dashboard.
- Scroll down to the Enrollment Questions section and toggle the feature on.
- Add a new question and choose from the available formats:
- Text Field: For short or long text answers.
- Number Field: For numerical input.
- Yes/No: A simple binary choice.
- Multiple Choice: Allows the parent to select more than one option from a list.
- Single Choice: Allows the parent to select only one option from a list.
- Dropdown Menu: Provides a list of options in a compact menu.
- Use the up and down arrows to change the order of your questions.
- Click Save when you are finished.
Viewing Parent Responses
Once a parent completes their registration, their answers to the custom questions will appear directly in their child's profile. You can find them in the dashboard under the Families tab. Room staff can also view these answers on their tablets by clicking into the child's profile from the attendance view.
